## Before publishing

- [ ] The card describes the actual page and uses artwork cleared for this use.
- [ ] The main subject remains readable at a small display size, with room around important content.
- [ ] The saved image opens correctly and its dimensions, quality and size have been checked.
- [ ] The image alt text describes meaningful visual content and text.
- [ ] If Use metadata text was selected, any later artwork or metadata changes have been reconciled.
- [ ] The actual image is uploaded to the intended public URL.
- [ ] The site's existing metadata fields/template have been updated, without accidental competing tags.
- [ ] The final page address and image address have replaced all sample values.

## After publishing

- [ ] The actual page opens without an editor login and contains the promised content.
- [ ] Published source contains the intended title, description, type, page URL, image URL and alt text.
- [ ] The exact image URL displays the intended artwork while signed out.
- [ ] Website/image caching issues are resolved before requesting a platform refresh.
- [ ] The relevant platform preview has been checked separately, with retrieval errors investigated.
- [ ] Existing-post behavior is recorded separately from the result for a new post.
- [ ] The final file, editing instructions and review notes are saved for the person maintaining the page.

Opening an image in a browser does not establish access by every platform crawler.
A local generator preview is approximate and does not confirm public delivery or third-party acceptance.
