Plainview Web privacy and terms.

Information handling differs across forms, browser tools, analytics, and site providers. Plainview Web privacy and terms explain those roles, visitor choices, usage limits, and how to request access or deletion at hello@plainviewweb.com.

Project-review information

The project-review form collects information a visitor voluntarily provides: name, business or project name, email address, optional phone number and website address, the type of help requested, and a project description. On the homepage, selecting Save and continue sends the business or project name, email address, and requested-help choice to Plainview Web. Completing Step 2 sends a second notification containing the full request. The shared request ID makes it clear that the two notifications belong to one review.

Cloudflare also processes ordinary hosting and security request details, such as an IP address, browser and network information, request route, and a Turnstile verification token. The Worker sends that token, the connecting IP address, and a generated verification identifier to Cloudflare's Turnstile service to check for automated abuse.

How project information is used

Submitted information, including an incomplete homepage request, is used to respond, evaluate project fit, prepare a possible scope, prevent abuse, and maintain reasonable business records. It is not sold or used to add visitors to a marketing list.

How the web tools process information

Unless a tool clearly says otherwise beside the relevant control, Plainview's text, calculation, preview, image, and file tools run in the visitor's browser. Text, selected files, file contents, and filenames used by those local tools are not uploaded to Plainview Web. Closing or refreshing the page normally clears that working session unless the tool explicitly offers a browser-storage feature.

Tool favorites store only the selected tool identifiers in this browser's local storage. They do not require an account, are not sent to Plainview Web, do not sync between devices, and are removed when the browser's site data is cleared.

The Font Pairing Previewer includes locally served starter fonts. Selecting a family labeled Google makes a separate request to Google Fonts for only that chosen family and weight, regardless of the analytics choice. The editable sample text is not included in the font request.

Internal Link Suggestion

Paste/import analysis runs in the visitor's browser. Topic, brand, draft text, and pasted inventory are not uploaded by the tool. If live scanning is enabled and a visitor deliberately starts it, the same-origin request to Plainview contains the target URL and a true-or-false indication of whether a local draft exists. Cloudflare also processes ordinary connection and request details. The Worker may then request the target site's public robots.txt, sitemap files, and a bounded sample of up to 24 public HTML pages. The target server receives ordinary network details, the requested URLs, and the PlainviewToolsBot user agent.

Sanitized titles, headings, public-page text, and link data from that bounded sample may be cached by Cloudflare on a best-effort, regional basis for up to one hour and reused for another request concerning the same public site. There is no scheduled crawl or permanent site index. Application error logs omit the submitted URL, page content, local draft, and pasted inventory. Live scanning is rate-limited and fails closed when its required protection is unavailable; while it is disabled, paste/import mode remains available.

Service providers

Cloudflare hosts and protects the website and conditionally supports the bounded live crawler described above. Resend receives the complete staged or completed project-request notification, including its request ID, and delivers it to Google Workspace, where the resulting business email is received and stored. If a visitor accepts optional analytics on the production website, Google Tag Manager loads the configured Google Analytics tag. Google Fonts receives a request only when a visitor selects a Google-labeled font. Third-party sites opened from Plainview receive normal request information under their own privacy and security terms.

Sampled hosting and operational logs may contain general route, status, timing, browser, network, and error information needed to operate and protect the site. Plainview's application logs are designed not to include project form answers, contact details, submitted crawler URLs, tool content, filenames, verification tokens, or upstream response bodies.

Cookies and optional analytics

Optional Google Analytics is disabled unless a visitor accepts it, and the tag is not loaded on Plainview's private staging hosts. When accepted on the production site, Analytics may use first-party cookies and receive the Plainview page address, referral source, approximate location, device and browser information, and the small set of defined website interactions needed to understand whether a project review was started, saved, or completed.

Plainview Web does not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, website addresses entered into forms or tools, project descriptions, form answers, tool-field values, uploaded file contents or filenames, generated results, or request identifiers to Google Analytics. Automatic outbound-click, site-search, form-interaction, file-download, video, and scroll events are outside Plainview's approved measurement plan. The visitor's choice is saved in the browser and can be changed through Analytics choices in the website footer. Declining analytics does not prevent use of the website or its forms. Turnstile may still use browser data necessary to provide security and prevent abuse.

Retention and deletion

Inquiry emails are kept only as long as reasonably needed for follow-up, business records, or legal requirements. Tool inputs handled only in the browser are not retained by Plainview. To request access, correction, or deletion of an inquiry, email hello@plainviewweb.com.

Tool and website-use limits

Tool results, previews, measurements, and generated drafts are practical aids and may be approximate. They do not replace professional legal, financial, tax, compliance, security-audit, or accessibility-certification services. Search and AI-readiness information does not guarantee crawling, indexing, placement, citations, rankings, traffic, leads, or revenue. Features clearly labeled experimental should be reviewed especially carefully before important use.

Visitors are responsible for reviewing outputs and for having permission to process supplied material. Live inspection must be limited to public sites the visitor owns or is authorized to inspect; authenticated, private, staging, signed, secret-bearing, or otherwise restricted URLs must not be submitted. The site may not be used to bypass access controls, violate another person's rights, or interfere with a service.

Third-party links and project terms

Links to external resources are provided for context. Plainview Web does not control their availability, content, privacy practices, or later changes. Website content is general information, not a guarantee of availability, price, project acceptance, compatibility, uptime, security, or business results. Final services, scope, payment terms, ownership, responsibilities, warranties, and support expectations belong in a separate written agreement.

Updates

This information may be updated when the website, service providers, or business practices change. The effective date is September 1, 2026.
