Markdown-to-HTML supports common Markdown and GitHub-style tables, strikethrough and task lists. Task checkboxes become static symbols. HTML-to-Markdown keeps headings, paragraphs, emphasis, links, images, lists, quotes and code. Tables, line breaks, superscripts, subscripts and ambiguous inline formatting can remain as cleaned HTML inside Markdown.
This is a content converter, not a full-page design importer. Scripts, styles, embedded media and form controls are removed; unsupported wrappers and attributes are simplified. Cleanup notes identify those changes. Complex layouts, link titles and unusual nesting may not survive a round trip exactly.
The reading preview does not load images or activate links. Exported content may contain image and link URLs, which your publishing system can load when used. Review the result and your publisher’s content rules before installing it.
Processing stays in this browser tab. Content is not uploaded or saved by the tool. Limits are 512 KiB of UTF-8 input, 10,000 parsed HTML nodes, 80 nested elements and 4 MiB of output. Large outputs remain available to copy or download even when the preview is omitted.
